I trasformatori monofase di comando CTA, sono particolari tipi di trasformatori di separazione, solitamente impiegati per l’alimentare circuiti di comando. Questi trasformatori hanno la caratteristica di ridurre la corrente di cortocircuito in caso di guasto. Consentono inoltre l’utilizzo di circuiti ausiliari senza la messa a terra. Sono trasformatori tipicamente utilizzati per alimentare circuiti a tensione di sicurezza molto bassa.

Three-phase transformer, with IP00 in "open" design, power range up to 30 kVA. They are designed and tested according to the applicable CEI-EN standards. The separate and insulated windings are protected against dust, moisture, and corrosion through complete impregnation with anti-mold paint. They are suitable for operation at standard temperatures up to ambient temperature = 40°C and Classes B/F. Compact design, fixed installation, easy mounting in switch cabinets. Custom models are available upon request. The transformer must be protected against overcurrent and short circuits in the system. If necessary, they can be supplied with an appropriate protective box (according to IP21 / IP23 standards).
